La Vie en Bleu meets La Vita Rossa

La Vie en Bleu at Prescott is always good. It was made even better this year by adding a little Italian flair! There were lots of amazing cars present including the fabled Beast of Turin, assorted Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Panhard et Levassors.

Here’s my selection of images from the racing and events on Saturday.

Enjoy!

Basically an automotive celebrity, The Beast of Turin is a land speed record Fiat S76 with a 28-litre, four-cylinder, flame-spitting engine. It has been brilliantly restored by Duncan Pittaway who always appeared to be laughing. Who can blame him!

There's always a great mix of cars racing at Prescott across the classes. Just as interesting as the stuff racing are the cars displayed in the paddock. They usually get a cavalcade up the hill, and it's great to see them being used.

As usual, if you would like any of these images as a print please get in touch with me and I'll see what I can do.
